TOKYO DESIGN

The design concept of TRUNK(HOUSE) is “TOKYO DESIGN”.

It literally means to design the city of Tokyo.

We work with partners who know Tokyo well and want to make this city a more exciting place; to create original, well-grounded designs that go beyond our guests’ imaginations.

With rather chaotic streets coupled with old Japanese-style houses and newly multipurposed buildings standing in rows on intricate streets, Tokyo takes in both the old and the new, creating and mingling genre-straddling cultures.

We regard these phenomena as positive aspects of Tokyo and try to incorporate them into contemporary statements.
